About the Course

Ah, the mystique of canvas.  Canvas has long been the media most associated with fine art.  This perception still exists and you can use it to your benefit when printing and finishing your own works.  In reality, printing and finishing canvas hasHal Schmitt never been easier.  We will show you the basics of printing on canvas and finishing your print with a stretched gallery wrap.  All course participants will leave with a professionally finished 18 x 24 gallery wrap of their own image.

This course will teach the required skills to print and finish a gallery quality canvas.  Hal will demonstrate and guide you through the entire process from image optimization to printing, coating, and stretching.  This is a hands on course, so be prepared to get out of the lab and into the finishing Hal Schmittstudio.  Expect to work late Saturday, so be ready to enjoy some outstanding Paso Robles reds and French Champagne.
